Where Crusoe Cloud is strong

  • No network ingress or egress charges at this time.
  • Per-second billing option with no minimum commitment.
  • Kubernetes (CMK), Slurm, Terraform and CLI for GPU clusters.
  • Managed serverless inference and fine-tuning.

Where Sandboxer differs

  • Crusoe sells GPU VMs and clusters; Sandboxer has no GPUs.
  • Crusoe VMs are provisioned via CLI/Terraform; Sandboxer starts agent-ready sandboxes.
  • Crusoe offers reservations and spot; Sandboxer uses flat plans.
  • Crusoe offers multi-node GPU clusters with Kubernetes or Slurm; Sandboxer runs single agent sandboxes.

Pick Crusoe Cloud if

  • You need large GPU clusters with Slurm or Kubernetes.
  • You need reserved or spot GPU capacity.
  • You want managed inference without running servers.

Pick Sandboxer if

  • You need a CPU sandbox with Docker, nested KVM and systemd that stops and resumes with running processes intact, and you do not need GPUs.
  • You want coding agents (Claude Code, Codex and others) preinstalled and driven through a prompt API with streamed events.
  • You want per-second billing with stopped sandboxes costing nothing and a flat $20 to $2000 monthly plan whose dollars return as machine time.
