Sandboxer vs OVHcloud GPU instances
OVHcloud Public Cloud offers GPU instances (Nvidia H100, L40S, L4, V100S and others) virtualised with KVM, billed hourly or monthly. Sandboxer has no GPUs but bills per second. Pick OVHcloud for GPU servers; pick Sandboxer for agent sandboxes.

At a glance
= not documented publicly.
Where OVHcloud GPU instances is strong
- GPU instances from $0.60 per hour (Quadro RTX 5000); H100 from $2.99 per hour.
- KVM-virtualised instances.
- GPUs usable with OVHcloud Managed Kubernetes.
- Hourly or monthly billing choice.
Where Sandboxer differs
- OVHcloud has GPUs; Sandboxer has none.
- OVHcloud bills hourly or monthly; Sandboxer per second.
- Sandboxer saves memory on stop; OVHcloud does not document that.
- Sandboxer runs in us-east and eu-central; OVHcloud's GPU page does not list regions.
Pick OVHcloud GPU instances if
- You need GPU servers from a large cloud provider.
- You want monthly-billed GPU instances.
- You want to pair GPUs with managed Kubernetes.
Pick Sandboxer if
- You need a CPU sandbox with Docker, nested KVM and systemd that stops and resumes with running processes intact, and you do not need GPUs.
- You want coding agents (Claude Code, Codex and others) preinstalled and driven through a prompt API with streamed events.
- You want per-second billing with stopped sandboxes costing nothing and a flat $20 to $2000 monthly plan whose dollars return as machine time.
